Terms of Service

Last updated: February 25, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Cybermaker. By accessing or using the platform you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise accessing Cybermaker (“the platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the platform after any change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cybermaker. If you are under 18, you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Cybermaker is not available to users whose accounts have been previously suspended or terminated for violations of these terms.

3. Accounts

When you register for an account you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others.
  • Notify us immediately at hello@cybermaker.club if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that have been inactive for an extended period, with reasonable prior notice where possible.

4. Platform Content and Licences

Our content

All tutorials, text, images, videos, designs, and other materials on Cybermaker (“Platform Content”) are owned by or licensed to Cybermaker and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view Platform Content for your personal, non-commercial use only.

Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display Platform Content without our prior written permission.
  • Modify, create derivative works from, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.
  • Use Platform Content for commercial purposes or resell access to it.
  • Scrape or systematically download content using automated tools.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Cybermaker only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

  • Post, transmit, or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, other accounts, or our infrastructure.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or interfere with the platform.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Use the platform in any way that could overburden or damage our servers or networks.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations of this section, including suspending or terminating accounts and reporting activity to law enforcement where required.

6. Free and Gated Access

The first three tutorials in each collection are available to all visitors without an account. Access to further tutorials requires a free Cybermaker account. We reserve the right to change which content is freely available at any time.

If we introduce paid plans or subscriptions in the future, additional terms will apply and will be presented to you before any charge is made. We will never charge you without your explicit consent.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@cybermaker.club. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, if we have reason to believe you have violated these terms or if required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

8. Disclaimers

Platform Content is provided for educational and informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we make no representations or warranties of any kind — express or implied — regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any content.

Working with electronics, robotics, and electrical components carries inherent risks. You are solely responsible for taking appropriate safety precautions when following any tutorial. Cybermaker accepts no liability for injury, damage, or loss arising from activities carried out in connection with Platform Content.

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cybermaker and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, profits, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cybermaker and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your violation of these terms; or (c) your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

The platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. You access them at your own risk.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

We encourage you to contact us first at hello@cybermaker.club to resolve any dispute informally before pursuing legal action.

13. General

  • Entire agreement — These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cybermaker regarding your use of the platform.
  • Severability — If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
  • No waiver — Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
  • Assignment — You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms. We may assign our rights without restriction.
